Expressive Learning

Some facts about expressive learners are:
  • only about 12% of people are expressive learners
  • some of the most common jobs for expressive learners is a playwright, poet, ad-writer, and novelist
  • usually expressive learners are sensitive to patterns, logic, and symmetry
  • there are two types of expressive learners, Oral expressive learners and Written expressive learners
  • Oral expressive learners are neat, write fluently, and usually very organized 
  • good at seeing the border picture
  • adapts to new situations easier
  • concerned with creativity

 Some tips that expressive learners might want to use:

FOR ORAL EXPRESSIVE LEARNERS:
  • speak to others about information
  • ask your teacher if you can take oral tests instead of tests on paper or with tests on paper
  • use a recorder to organize thoughts
FOR WRITTEN EXPRESSIVE LEARNERS:
  • organize thoughts by writing them down
  • ask your teacher if you can take a essay type test when possible
  • write down your notes down on paper 
  • blogging is a good way to spend your free time
How they think:
  • expressive learners prefer to express their feelings, thoughts, and memories
  • sometimes they learn best when they are drawing or writing
  • when they forget something and they look at the thing they drew or smelled, they remember the thing they were learning
 How they help our world is by writing important information or historical events. They could become, but not limited to, journalists, artists, and authors which are very important jobs.
